As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for actively identifying and acquiring new clients in the retail, hospitality, and tax-free sectors in Austria. This is a pure hunting role that requires proactive cold acquisition, strategic prospecting, and strong negotiation skills to drive business growth and expand our market presence.
Job Responsibility:
Creation of sales planning to ensure structured acquisition (planning, execution, reporting)
Acquisition of new customers for retail, hospitality, and tax free sectors
Expansion of the partner network in cooperation with the Partner Management Team
Organizing meetings and conducting presentations with prospects, both physically and virtually
Respond to customers/partner inquiries in a professional and timely manner
Collaborate with the entire Sales Team and contribute by developing and promoting ideas to help colleagues achieve set targets
Completing additional tasks as deemed by line manager and company
Requirements:
Demonstrable experience in cold calling, preferably in the payment or tax-free environment for the retail sector or willing to get involved in this new field
Enjoy prospecting with skills and experience to approach new customers, building and developing trust customer relationships
Fully committed to carrying out responsible tasks independently and as part of a team
Open to new ideas, hands-on mentality and entrepreneurial thinking
Prepared to carry out complex back-office tasks accurately and familiarize with new tools and topics
High willingness to travel (primarily in Austria)
Native German speaker and English (company language) are a must
Based in Austria
