We’re seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across New South Wales, identifying opportunities, developing strategic relationships, and positioning Gallagher’s intelligent security solutions with channel partners, end users, consultants, architects, engineers, and key industry influencers.

Job Responsibility

  • Drive new business growth across NSW, build strategic partnerships, and champion Gallagher's world-class security solutions
  • Actively managing the NSW region, building a healthy opportunity pipeline, qualifying and converting high-value opportunities, and supporting long-term customer and partner success
  • Regular regional travel will be required, with occasional interstate travel for national events, training, and planning sessions

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, solution sales, or account management, ideally within security, technology, construction, or a related B2B environment
  • Exposure to Australian Federal Government, Defence, critical infrastructure or other high-security environments would be highly regarded, including an understanding of security frameworks, compliance requirements and security construction standards
  • A proven ability to identify, qualify, develop, and close new business opportunities in a competitive market
  • Experience managing high-value opportunities, longer sales cycles, and multiple stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of channel sales, partner engagement, and customer relationship management
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
  • A strategic and curious mindset, with the ability to uncover customer needs and create tailored value-led solutions
  • The ability to collaborate across teams, influence outcomes, and contribute to regional sales planning
  • A self-motivated approach, strong commercial discipline, and a desire to grow with a global organisation
  • Australian citizenship is required, and a minimum Baseline or NV1 security clearance, or MVI equivalent, is highly desirable
