Senior Business Development Advisor

• Creating long-term value for Acden from clients, partners, markets, and relationships
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with key industry and site-based operations decision-makers and leaders
• Exploring new partnerships, supporting the prequalification stages, and business development opportunities, and communicating recommendations to the Business Development Leaders
• Exploring and coordinating available grants to support wholly owned businesses
• Attending, engaging, and hosting networking events, conferences, workshops and other various events in Fort McMurray and other determined or required locations
• Stewarding to and supporting Acden’s strategic goals and vision
• creating supporting strategic plans and roadmaps for wholly owned companies and corporate initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or relevant discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of business development experience required
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and other related software
• Outstanding interpersonal and networking skills
• Excellent skills in teamwork, leadership and communication
• Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
• Ability to build rapport and professional relationships
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, analytical and reasoning abilities
• Ability to work efficiently on simultaneous assignments under tight deadlines with no supervision
• Professional self-starter, high level of motivation, client empathy and ethics
• Demonstrated success in building trust and maintaining long-term relationships
• Ability to collect and analyze data, draw conclusions, and make actionable recommendations
• Results driven individual
