Job Description

An international law firm is looking for a Senior Business Development Advisor to support its Banking, Restructuring & Insolvency practice in Paris, with additional exposure to the Energy & Infrastructure sector. This is a highly international and partner-facing role, offering close collaboration with senior stakeholders in Paris, London and across the wider global network. You will play a key role in supporting the execution of Business Development and Marketing initiatives for the Banking, Restructuring & Insolvency practice, helping to drive growth, strengthen client relationships and ensure alignment between local, regional and global priorities. The role will suit someone currently working within a law firm BD or Marketing team, looking for a visible, strategic and internationally exposed position within a leading global environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the execution of the Banking, Restructuring & Insolvency BD strategy, connecting local priorities with global initiatives
  • Develop and support key client relationships through account planning, tailored client engagement and effective CRM coordination
  • Contribute to high-quality pitches, RFPs and panel submissions, from tailored materials through to post-pitch follow-up
  • Identify and respond proactively to emerging market, sector and client opportunities
  • Enhance the firm’s market profile through legal directories, awards and league table submissions
  • Produce high-quality BD and marketing collateral, supporting campaigns, thought leadership and client events
  • Work closely with partners, lawyers and global BD, sector and client teams to ensure consistent and high-quality execution
  • Build strong knowledge of the Banking, Restructuring & Insolvency market and contribute relevant insights to BD activity

Requirements

  • Experience in Business Development or Marketing within a law firm or professional services environment
  • Fluent French and English, both written and spoken
  • Exposure to Banking, Restructuring, Insolvency, Finance, Energy & Infrastructure or related legal practices would be a strong advantage
  • Proven experience supporting pitches, RFPs, client development and BD strategy execution
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international and partner-facing environment
