Job Description

As a Senior Business Controller, you will act as a key finance business partner to Production and Supply Chain functions, driving financial insights, process improvements, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will play a critical role in strengthening advanced analytics, automation, and financial governance within the Controlling team.

Job Responsibility

  • Act as a finance business partner for operational stakeholders, supporting decision-making with high-quality financial analysis
  • Drive financial planning processes (budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning) and monitor performance vs. targets
  • Analyze financial results, cost structures (COGS), and operational KPIs, identifying trends and recommending improvements
  • Lead advanced analysis and business case preparation for strategic initiatives and investments
  • Ensure transparency and control over inventory, provisions, and product costing processes
  • Drive automation of controlling processes and reporting (Power BI / dashboards / DWH)
  • Define and improve reporting standards and financial processes across the organization
  • Support month-end close and financial governance in cooperation with Accounting
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the Controlling team

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Business/Finance Controlling, ideally in a production/manufacturing environment
  • Strong experience in: Financial analysis & reporting, Budgeting, forecasting & planning, Cost controlling and inventory analysis
  • Advanced skills in Excel
  • Experience with Power BI, and data analytics tools
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., D365 / AX) and data extraction
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to challenge assumptions and drive decisions
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders
  • Fluent English
