The Senior Business Application Analyst is responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing support of enterprise workforce management and human capital management (HCM) application systems. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, contractors, and leadership to deliver stable, secure, and efficient solutions that support workforce operations across the organization. The primary focus of this role is Kronos / UKG Workforce Management, including timekeeping, scheduling, workforce analytics, and integrations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the newest version of UKG Workforce Management and strong exposure to Boomi for integrations and data management. This role balances customer-facing support with project-based work and operates independently on complex initiatives, including leading small to medium-sized projects and mentoring other staff.
Job Responsibility:
Analyze business requirements and design application solutions to improve workflows and operational efficiency
Serve as application administrator, ensuring system security, data integrity, and system availability
Lead or participate in full life-cycle implementations including planning, design, testing, go-live, and post-production support
Develop and maintain standard and ad hoc reports using tools such as SQL, QlikView, Lawson BI, Infor BI, and Kronos Genies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to manage enhancements and resolve issues
Provide high-quality customer service and support, including incident and request management
Lead small to medium projects, manage timelines and deliverables, and facilitate meetings
Train end users and staff on systems and new functionality
Participate in on-call rotation and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
In lieu of a bachelor's degree, 9 years of relevant business experience required
Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
At least 3 years of experience in a healthcare information systems environment
Minimum of 2 years of full life-cycle implementation experience
Experience with systems related to finance, supply chain, human capital management, payroll, or procurement preferred
Familiarity with Kronos, Lawson, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or similar enterprise systems is a plus
Consulting experience preferred
