Job Description:

Our client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst for a 12 month contract in North York. This is an onsite role.

Job Responsibility:

Apply in practicality, concepts, practices and procedures for a comprehensive range of I&IT business and system analysis services
Provide detailed systems comparison and gap fit analysis documentation
Provide detailed finding reports of system implementation against business requirements
Work collaboratively with various stakeholder, across teams, independently and in a team setting
Conduct presentations and knowledge transfer sessions of key deliverables

Requirements:

10+ years of experience in developing strategies, preparing business cases and cost-benefit analysis
10+ years of experience in leading and conducting business analysis to assess client’s business problems/opportunities and document business requirements
Public Sector Experience
Familiarity with Public Sector project management, IT policies and practices, enterprise architecture framework, and Agile systems development methodology
Knowledge of Ontario’s Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) and Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA)
Knowledge of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA)
10+ years of experience in developing sound processes for requirements gathering including JAD sessions, interviews, mock-ups
10+ years of experience in business modeling
use case modeling
conceptual and logical data modeling
process and data flow modeling
use case surveys
business rules definition and non-functional requirements definitions
10+ years of experience developing performance measures and traceability matrices for business analysis evaluation
10+ years of experience conducting requirements gathering, developing documentation, including presentations and briefing notes and conducting stakeholder engagement
10+ years of experience with frameworks and tools (JavaFX, Swing, jQuery, JIRA, Confluence)
10+ years of experience overseeing and participating in the development of complete testing documentation
10+ years of experience substantiating analysis with business group to fix data issues and provide queries and scripts
10+ years of experience substantiating analysis for business group to design/configure application properly
10+ years of experience regularly reviewing logs, providing analysis & suggestions to implement measures of improvement
10+ years of experience applying re-engineering concepts to promote business improvements
10+ years of experience leading and conducting business analysis at varying levels of detail
10+ years of experience monitoring progress, resolving problems and reporting regularly to I&IT management and stakeholders
Demonstrated strong leadership and people management skills
Exceptional analytical, trouble-shooting, problem solving and decision-making skills
Demonstrated strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills
Proven troubleshooting and critical thinking experience
