Job Description:

The Senior Business Analyst (Sr. BA) will support and advance strategic initiatives focused on Shipment Tracking (SOAR), FourKites, and other transportation platforms. This role plays a central part in enhancing shipment visibility, real-time tracking capabilities, and operational insights across transportation and distribution networks. The Sr. BA will collaborate with transportation, supply chain, data, and IT teams to drive solution enhancements, optimize data flow and tracking accuracy, and influence product roadmaps that support visibility modernization efforts.

Job Responsibility:

Serve as a subject matter expert for Shipment Tracking (SOAR), FourKites, and supply chain visibility solutions
Lead requirements, process analysis, and enhancement efforts for SOAR initiatives
Partner with transportation and logistics teams to improve shipment tracking accuracy, milestone visibility, alerting, and reporting
Work closely with visibility vendors (e.g., FourKites) to identify issues, assess new features, support integration improvements, and manage solution enhancements
Analyze upstream and downstream system impacts within visibility, TMS, WMS, and carrier integrations
Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups, demos, and retrospectives
Drive capacity planning and capacity prediction to ensure realistic sprint commitments
Facilitate alignment among Product Owners, developers, and testers to ensure SOAR and visibility initiatives progress predictably
Prepare and maintain clear, structured user stories and acceptance criteria that support visibility platform enhancements
Execute comprehensive business analysis processes, including requirements elicitation and documentation
Coordinate and lead UAT for SOAR, FourKites, and other visibility-related deliverables
Support functional testing as required for visibility and SOAR enhancements
Support production deployments, release activities, and post-deployment validation as needed
Serve as liaison across IT, business stakeholders, and external partners

Requirements:

5+ years of Business Analysis experience
3–5 years of experience in Agile environments with user story and acceptance criteria development
Strong analytical and project management skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across business and IT teams
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, and Outlook
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or related field (preferred)

Nice to have:

Experience with SOAR, FourKites, Project44, or other shipment visibility tools
Understanding of real-time tracking, carrier integrations, milestone events, shipment exceptions, and visibility analytics
