Senior Business Analyst

• Oversee Workday-related projects and enhancements
• Design and modify Workday reports
• Create and maintain calculated fields and conditional rules for automated workflows
• Create, train users and maintain EIBs for efficient data loads
• Train end users and stakeholders on new Workday functionality
• Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze, document, and implement business process updates within Workday
• Troubleshoot system problems, determine root cause, and implement solutions
• Design, configure, and test integrations between Workday and external systems using Enterprise Integration Builder (EIB) and other Workday tools
• Monitor and assess integration failures
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for requirements gathering, business processes, integrations, procedures, and system configuration
• Understand Workday security including adjusting domains and security groups
• Migrate configuration data and objects between Workday tenants using tools like Object Transporter
• Mentor and support less experienced technical staff with Workday related tools and technologies
• Engage with internal stakeholders to determine a strategy and vision for software applications
• Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users
• Collect, analyze, and translate business requirements into user stories, workflows, business process logic, process maps, wireframes, specifications, and acceptance criteria
• Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements
• Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects through developing project plans and monitoring performance
• Configure, test and deploy requested and required changes in coordination with functional offices and Technology support
• Participate in system planning and testing including user acceptance testing and system integration testing
• Creates and maintains business relationships with respective stakeholders on campus
• Partner with Programmer Analysts to build integrations between Workday and other systems
• Provide guidance and consult with the College's information security staff on best practices for the team's projects
• Be an active participant in the life of the College by attending and supporting key events like Commencement, Homecoming, and other all-hands-on-deck gatherings

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of related experience
• 2+ years experience with Workday, including business processes, integrations, configuration, security, and reporting required
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and other data manipulation tools
• Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and LucidChart
• Strong communication and writing skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities and meet negotiated timelines with high quality deliverables
• Workday experience required
