We are looking for a skilled Senior Business Analyst with extensive knowledge of Oracle Cloud Fusion Finance to play a pivotal role in supporting financial transformation projects. This individual will act as the bridge between Finance and IT, ensuring that Oracle Cloud solutions align with organizational objectives. As this is a long-term contract position, you will contribute to designing, implementing, and optimizing Oracle Fusion Finance modules.
Job Responsibility:
Collaborate with finance, accounting, and IT teams to gather and document detailed business requirements for Oracle Cloud Fusion Financial modules, including GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, and Tax
Assess and analyze current financial processes to identify areas for improvement using Oracle Fusion functionalities
Convert business requirements into functional specifications and configurations tailored for Oracle Cloud Fusion Finance
Drive or support activities such as configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation troubleshooting
Serve as a subject matter expert on Oracle Fusion Finance modules, offering guidance on functionality and best practices
Work closely with integration and data teams to ensure smooth connectivity between Oracle systems and external applications
Develop comprehensive training materials and provide hands-on support to end-users during training sessions
Address and resolve system issues, manage defects, and provide support for month-end and quarter-end financial close processes
Monitor Oracle Cloud updates and releases to evaluate their implications on business operations
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on Oracle Cloud Fusion Finance modules
In-depth knowledge of financial processes, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, cash management, and tax
Familiarity with tools such as OTBI, Oracle Smart View, and other Oracle reporting functionalities
Strong expertise in Agile Scrum methodologies and the ability to perform gap analysis effectively
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and optimize processes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across teams
Ability to prepare and deliver user training and documentation
Experience supporting financial close processes and managing system updates or releases
