Job Description:

We are seeking a highly analytical Senior Business Analyst to lead the development of data-driven credit policies and business strategies at Jeeves. In this role, you will leverage diverse internal and external data sources to optimize underwriting, strengthen customer credit management, and minimize portfolio risk. You will drive cross-functional initiatives to enhance our data and analytics framework, support scalable business growth, and improve credit monitoring and governance. This position requires strong expertise in commercial credit risk, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex insights into actionable strategies.

Job Responsibility:

Lead the development of best in class data-driven credit policies and business strategies
Deliver advancements in data and analytics
Improve credit monitoring and governance
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts on the team, fostering a culture of rigorous analysis and innovation

Requirements:

4+ years in analytics within credit risk management
Fluent in English
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Intellectual curiosity
Experience in commercial credit risk, specifically within credit cards, payments, lending, or related industries
Proven ability to translate complex data and model results into actionable business strategies
Experience utilizing alternative data sources
Advanced proficiency in SQL and Excel
Experience using Python or R for data analysis and statistical modeling (regression, clustering, etc.)

Nice to have:

Experience in architecting, implementing, and interpreting risk/scoring models in conjunction with data science teams
Experience in high growth startups preferred
Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau
Experience building complex financial products and models
