Randstad Digital is looking for multiple Senior Business Analysts to join one of our favourite clients Technology division in the Utilities sector. Whether your expertise lies in strengthening Cyber Security posture through Information Security Management Programs or leading large scale EHS system redesigns using Evotix, these roles offer the chance to shape critical infrastructure. You will be instrumental in bridging the gap between complex technical requirements and operational excellence in a hybrid, Brisbane-based environment.
Job Responsibility:
Lead gap analysis and process redesign to align health and safety workflows with best-practice 'Vanilla' standards
Perform a detailed audit of existing customisations to determine which can be retired in favour of standard Evotix modules like Incident and Risk Management
Map 'As-Is' custom processes and design 'To-Be' vanilla workflows utilizing native configuration tools rather than bespoke code
Maintain a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) to ensure essential 'Safe for Life' compliance needs are met
Lead UAT phases by developing test scripts that validate standard software behaviour against real-world utility safety scenarios
Facilitate workshops with technical and business stakeholders to capture detailed business, stakeholder, functional, and non-functional requirements
Shape functional design documentation and perform current and future state business process mapping (BPMN 2.0) to align security solutions with workflows
Establish and maintain a rigorous Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) within Azure DevOps or Jira
Define test cases and provide input into test plans for FAT, SIT, and UAT phases, including managing defect triage
Collaborate with solution architects and external vendors to ensure system designs comply with organisational standards
Requirements:
7+ years as a BA with deep experience in EHS or Asset Management software implementations
Ability to challenge the 'we've always done it this way' mindset and guide SMEs toward standard software adoption
Advanced proficiency in BPMN 2.0 process modelling to articulate the benefits of standard workflows
Understanding of RESTful APIs and how data connects across standard SaaS modules
Previous experience in the Utilities or Energy sector is highly preferred
Proven experience as a BA on enterprise security solutions such as Vulnerability Management, IAM, PAM, or Patch Management
Demonstrated ability to investigate operational challenges, perform options analysis, and develop scenario profiles for security solutions
Advanced proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies within complex, high-pressure environments
Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organisation
Desirable experience in Critical Infrastructure or the Energy sector, with exposure to the AESCSF framework
Experience in the Utilities sector (Energy, Mining, Rail etc) is essential
