Job Description:

Senior Business Analyst role at HSBC focusing on complex business analysis, requirements gathering, and implementation management across multiple projects in the banking and financial services domain.

Job Responsibility:

  • Articulate complex information in clear, meaningful way
  • Act as expert across multiple projects simultaneously
  • Guide teams on requirements gathering, design, change implementation
  • Responsible for implementation management including planning, controlling and reporting
  • Identify potential risks and deal with them proactively
  • Use systemic thinking and creativity in devising solution options
  • Handle unforeseen roadblocks swiftly
  • Responsible for change planning and audience analysis
  • Design and deliver change interventions
  • Track change readiness, adoption, and feedback

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in business analysis
  • Experience in banking and financial domain
  • Strong business analysis, requirements gathering and design thinking skills
  • Experience in digital transformation projects in global banks/consulting firm/Financial industry
  • Experience on Avaloq wealth management suite
  • Experience in new implementation/upgrades to the Avaloq banking suite
  • Experience in parameterizing and maintaining business IT solutions in Avaloq
  • Experience in defining access controls in Avaloq
  • Experience in Capital Markets (Equities, Bonds/Fixed income, Mutual funds, Futures and options, structured product)
  • Exposure to trade settlement life cycle, Data mapping, trade reports and statements
  • Ability to analyze regulatory requirements and assess impact on business processes
  • Knowledge of MS Office and business analysis tools
  • Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence tools
  • Create required artefacts to expected standard (BDD in user stories, flow diagrams, Confluence documentation)
  • Effective communication, inter-personal and negotiating skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience in Change management and Change Adoption processes
  • Lead planning analysis activity with optimal use of resources
  • Use of customer, product, and operational procedural insights to optimise experience
