Job Description:

The role involves reviewing and validating drug data from external vendors for accuracy, investigating issues, managing proprietary drug data processes, and serving as a subject matter expert on drug data projects.

Job Responsibility:

Reviewing and validating drug data received from external vendors and used in support of prescription claims processing
Performing thorough analysis of the data on a daily basis for purposes of validating its accuracy
Investigating and leading efforts toward resolution of identified issues
Collaboratively working with internal business partners or directly with applicable data vendors for issue resolution
Managing certain proprietary drug data processes
Serving as drug data subject matter expert in support of drug data related projects and client/regulatory audits

Requirements:

2+ years of Excel experience
specifically using VLOOKUP ups and pivot tables
Associates degree required or equivalent work experience

Nice to have:

4+ years of PBM or related healthcare industry experience is preferred
Demonstrable experience working with large, disparate data sets and performing detailed analyses
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel macros and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) coding language
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Access
Bachelor’s degree preferred
