Job Description:

Senior Business Analyst role at HSBC providing business, product owner and agile team with functional support while evolving product roadmap, creating user stories, and managing product backlog. The role involves solution analysis on customer journeys and product functionality within technology projects spanning multiple business units and geographies.

Job Responsibility:

Provide Business, Product Owner and Agile team with functional support
Evolve the product roadmap
Create user stories and manage the product backlog
Perform solution analysis on customer journeys and product functionality
Work within technology projects spanning multiple business units and geographies
Ensure team works within Agile delivery methodology
Understand risk exposure to the bank
Support delivery throughout entire project lifecycle from user requirements to go live
Contribute to development and learnability in Core banking

Requirements:

10+ years experience
Excellent domain knowledge in core banking
Relevant experience in core banking covering domains such as accounts, core banking related finance, payments settlements
Excellent business analysis and communication skills
Experience in handling large projects and handling teams spread across multiple locations
Experience in modernization such as micro services, events
MBA or CA preferred
Certification as a product owner and business analysis
Certification in SAFE Agile

Nice to have:

Experience leading Agile teams using DevOps practices
Working knowledge of Agile ways of working and tools (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, LEAN, JIRA, Confluence)
Experience in Disciplined Agile and SAFE framework
