Senior Business Analyst

• Taking overall responsibility for eliciting, understanding and translating requirements and mapping them to Microsoft Business Application technologies
• Rapid prototyping client requirements
• Driving early design decisions through entity modelling
• Assisting customers in mapping high level business requirements to low level functional requirements
• Identifying issues and opportunities for improvement
• Challenging assumptions
• Identifying risk and providing solutions
• Influencing stake holders both internally and with clients
• Ensuring requirements demonstrate business value
• Performing ‘Fit Gap’ analysis
• Mapping ‘As Is’ and ‘To Be’ processes
• Playing a part in solution envisioning and the presales process
• Working with Solution and Enterprise Architects, Business owners, and Business Analyst Teams
• Leading client workshops to scope and define projects
• Prioritising and executing tasks for each project
• Creating modelling, POC’s and both lo-fi and hi-fi wire frames
• Leading User first training programmes
• Liaising with client business owners, business analysts and development teams
• Managing the end-to-end requirements management process in Azure DevOps
• Playing a part in test cycles
• Ensuring requirements traceability at each stage
• Managing and measuring solution benefits mapped to business cases
• Ensuring systems and changes are smoothly transitioned into operation
• Managing the scope of work.

• Demonstrable Business Analysis experience
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Understanding of different approaches when eliciting requirements in both waterfall and agile projects
• Experience working within a consultancy or people services organisation delivering Microsoft business applications projects
• Experience working under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Knowledge of how to prepare for and conduct requirements workshops and collaborative prototyping sessions
• Ability to use no-code / low code tools such as configurable CRM systems, Power Apps, Dynamics 365 or similar tooling
• Experience with rapid prototyping, entity modelling, fit gap analysis, process mapping, and requirements traceability
• Experience with the end-to-end requirements management process in Azure DevOps
• Experience leading client workshops, managing scope, and influencing stakeholders.

Experience delivering Microsoft Business Applications projects in the past.
