Senior Business Analyst

• Analyze and document processes related to treasury operations, tax revenue, and cash-to-ledger workflows
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement improvements that enhance financial processes
• Utilize Oracle and Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data effectively
• Conduct detailed assessments of accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
• Ensure compliance with GAAP standards across all financial operations and reporting
• Develop and maintain accurate documentation for all business and technical processes
• Provide insights and recommendations to optimize cash operations and related workflows
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial systems with organizational goals
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to financial applications and processes

• Proven experience with accounting software systems, including Oracle
• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and financial processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience in local government finance is a plus but not required
