Job Responsibility:

  • Ownership of SCRUM & LEAN ceremony and techniques across the team engineering teams e.g. sprint planning, daily scrums etc
  • Support the Business Programme Manager (BPM), IT Project Managers and Product Owners to evolve resilience roadmap, creation of requirements / user stories and managing the backlog
  • Investigate, classify and analyse operational risk associated with IT systems
  • Translate business risk appetite/posture into functional and non-functional requirements/stories
  • Create analysis of customer journeys, product functionality and business process
  • Work closely with developers, testers, support staff and architects and a variety of end users to ensure technical and operational compatibility and quality for agreed solutions
  • Experience of analysing complex infrastructure upgrades affecting multiple countries, products, customers and applications, usually including comprehensive regression and non-functional testing
  • Experience of working with a virtual team made up of stakeholders and IT colleagues from multiple disciplines, geographies and timezones

Requirements:

  • 5+ years IT project management / SCRUM experience
  • 5+ years business analysis experience within Financial Services, Software, Telecoms or Energy sectors
  • Understanding of Agile metrics and reporting like Release burn downs, Sprint Burn downs, Velocity, User story mapping, Story point sizing and ranking according to value based priorities
  • Proven experience of working in large, complex programmes across multiple streams and geographies
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding and implementation of key agile artefacts
  • Degree educated
  • Business Analysis (ISEB, Agile)
  • Service Management (ITIL, DevOps)
  • Sprint Planning
  • Daily Scrums
  • Maintaining Sprint and Product backlog
  • Retrospectives and arranging show-n-tell demos
  • Release planning in coordination with other Agile teams
  • Ensuring in-sprint testing is completed in a timely manner
  • Complex Business and IT systems analysis
  • Non-functional requirements gathering and analysis
  • Operational risk assessment
  • Technical document writing
  • Business case development
  • Strong team player, volunteer

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and spoken)
  • Comfortable with both detailed reporting and executive communications
  • Excellent organisational skills - able to efficiently manage multiple workstreams when working under pressure
  • Microsoft Office skills essential – particularly Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
