Senior Business Analyst

• Lead the cross-functional team in developing and implementing online user experiences
• Direct the creation of user personas, journey maps, task scenarios, and wireframes
• Manage the product backlog using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps
• Prioritize features and decide on release schedules to maximize customer benefit and gather iterative feedback
• Utilize industry-standard tools (e.g., Balsamiq, InVision, Adobe Suite) to lead prototyping activities
• Ensure designs follow mobile-first and responsive principles
• Enforce strict adherence to WCAG 2.0 and 2.1 (Level A and AA) standards
• Ensure all digital solutions meet regional digital government service standards
• Apply evidence-based approaches, including user interviews, analytics, and usability testing, to continuously iterate on and improve design choices
• Act as a subject matter expert during consultations to assess business needs and negotiate content standards and performance measures
• Provide technical advice and coaching to team members on usability, accessibility, and front-end design interdependencies

• Significant experience designing online user experiences for complex, large-scale digital solutions
• Extensive experience in hybrid agile environments
• Deep understanding of taxonomies, navigation design, and the interdependencies of UI elements
• Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Azure cloud platform
• Expert knowledge of WCAG 2.1 accessibility requirements and digital service standards

Scrum Master experience

• Champion new ideas and take calculated risks to troubleshoot and overcome user experience limitations
• Visualize and provide oversight across multiple concurrent digital solutions to ensure a cohesive brand and user journey
• Work within a balanced team of product owners, designers, and developers to ship software that impacts a diverse audience
• Mentor a multidisciplinary team while staying at the forefront of emerging digital trends and government standards
