Job Description:

The Senior Business Analyst, Smartsheet, supports the organization in advancing project, portfolio, and resource management capabilities through the effective design and use of Smartsheet solutions. Embedded within the Enterprise PMO, this role partners with stakeholders across the organization to design, build, implement, and sustain Smartsheet-based platforms. The Senior Business Analyst also drives decision-support insights through data visibility and reporting and will enable process automation and continuous improvement across project and portfolio management practices.

Job Responsibility:

  • Independently lead complex initiatives with broad scope and minimal oversight
  • Independently gather and document requirements, translate them into designs aligned to established standards, and propose design improvements for review and approval
  • Lead project steps and contribute to analysis, design, testing, deployment, and cross-functional issue resolution
  • Lead and execute end-to-end functional testing and UAT cycles, ensure testing completeness and quality, contribute to SOP user documentation, and lead post–go-live stabilization efforts
  • Serve as an advanced support resource by troubleshooting complex issues, performing root cause analysis, and recommending durable corrective actions
  • Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders, leaders, and external vendors, translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences
  • Lead change management initiatives including development and ownership of SOPs and advanced training materials
  • Help develop roadmap for supported system(s) and processes
  • Continuously learn and apply new related skills and capabilities
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance
  • Act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to essential duties
  • or Associates Degree and 2 years of relevant experience
  • or High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 4 years of relevant experience
  • 5 years of experience as a business analyst designing and supporting processes in related systems
  • Experience leading system enhancement or implementation projects
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in country where work will be performed on a full or part-time basis
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation

Nice to have:

  • 4+ years of Smartsheet Experience including with design, testing and deploying Control Center solutions
  • 4+ years of progressive, broad-based project management experience to include tracking and reporting responsibilities for a large project portfolio
  • Experience with Smartsheet premium apps such as Data Shuttle, Dynamic View, and Resource Management
  • Experience with integration or connecting Smartsheet to other tools and systems
  • Smartsheet Core Product Certification or Product Certified User
  • Experience with AI tools
