Job Description:

The Senior Business Analyst will collaborate closely with Project Managers, Subject Matter Experts, and key stakeholders across various business units to ensure alignment and coordination in the collection, documentation, and validation of business requirements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Detailed review of existing business requirements and technical current state documentation
  • Collaborate with technical experts to gather input and insights for the development and refinement of data requirements and standards
  • Design and develop facilitation sessions to validate the existing requirements and collect net new business and information technology requirement, including gap analysis
  • Create and maintain detailed process and solution documentation, including workflows, integration diagrams, user guides, and training materials, to ensure seamless adoption of new technology
  • Conduct a comprehensive analysis of business and technical requirements to support the planning, management, and progression of the technical workstreams within the CIS project
  • recommend and implement solutions to achieve defined objectives, monitoring their effectiveness
  • Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure the smooth delivery and implementation of the Clinical Information Solution, including effective communication plans for stakeholders

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s level University degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare or a similar discipline
  • A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience as a Senior Business Analyst responsible for requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, use case analysis, business process analysis, detailed design activities, and developing business analysis documentation
  • 5 years of demonstrated financial system support experience with a focus on Canadian health information systems, standards, technology, and/or software
  • 3 years of demonstrated Meditech financial suite experience including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Billing and Accounts Receivable, Materials management
  • Facilitation skills: demonstrated experience in leading workshops to identify and articulate business requirements, system requirements, and develop user stories or use cases
  • Demonstrated experience leading and producing business analysis documentation (E.g., business requirements, patient journeys, functional specifications, process diagrams, requirements traceability, SOPs, test plans and test cases)
  • Demonstrated 5 years of experience working with a high level of self-direction, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to confidently engage and collaborate with project team members, subject matter experts, and stakeholders at all levels
  • 3 years Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, Teams) in the work environment
