Requirements

8+ years of experience working as an IT business analyst
7+ years’ experience with elicitation and documentation of business and functional requirements
Good understanding of all stages of Waterfall methodology Viz
requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
Understanding of and experience in IT project management methodologies, requirements management, quality assurance and IT processes.
Experience in developing Test plans and Manual Testing.
Good experience with design and implementation of technical environments using various technologies and languages.
Must have experience developing AS-IS and TO-BE business process flows.
Must have in-depth knowledge of business re-engineering principles and processes, the ability to identify, capture, and translate business requirements.
Basic programming language knowledge, understanding of databases.

Job Responsibility

Lead business requirements gathering workshops and document business requirements.
Develop and document User Stories, to-be process flows and work collaboratively with development team to design a solution that will meet the business requirements.
Develop wireframes or prototypes based on business input/requirements to visualize concepts and to produce requirements for development.
Document use cases, business/system/functional requirements, requirements traceability matrix and test cases.
Creates process flowcharts, diagrams, drawings and other related documentation. Creates technical workflows using different modelling techniques.
Conduct business process/systems analysis through user story workshops.
Analyze current business processes and document AS-IS business process flows.
Work with business stakeholders in developing TO-BE business process flows.
Own functional specifications and serve as a functional expert with a deep understanding of business needs on product capabilities by defining business requirements, performing quality assurance & define reporting and alerting requirements.
Participate in user requirement sessions to identify opportunities for process improvement and technical solutions.

Requirements

5+ years of general experience in IT and/or E-commerce, Retail-tech, Logistics
3+ years as a System/Business analyst
Fluent English and excellent communication skills
Strong requirements elicitation skills across multiple stakeholder types
Business flow diagram drawing
Business event schema modeling
Preparing dev tasks, technical design documents, and field mappings
Solid understanding of XML/JSON, APIs, Kafka fundamentals, and databases
Knowledge of SQL and data structures
Confident user of Jira, Confluence, Lucid, Miro, Azure DevOps, and similar tools

Job Responsibility

Collaborate with multiple teams to clarify business and technical requirements
Provide guidance on the integration platform and relevant engineering standards

Review Avro schema pull requests from both technical and business perspectives
Support the full development cycle, from pre-analysis and design through UAT and release coordination

Identify corner cases early and help automate them to reduce manual testing

Techno-functional profile with hands-on experience building tech products that solve real and pressing problems in highly complex and regulated environments
Strong background in financial domain, 5+ years of experience as a business analyst in financial services, driving business process automation, digitization and transformation initiatives in a global set up preferred
Understanding of machine learning and AI and ability to apply them in practical scenarios, prior experience with such projects is preferred
