Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to analyze business systems, evaluate user needs, and support the development of technology solutions that align with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and business process reengineering, along with the ability to work closely with stakeholders and development teams to deliver effective system solutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs to develop effective solutions
  • Identify opportunities for business process improvements and process reengineering
  • Gather, document, and analyze business and functional requirements
  • Translate business requirements into system and technical specifications
  • Work closely with stakeholders, business teams, and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Participate in system design discussions and provide recommendations for technology solutions
  • Support testing activities including system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Document business processes, workflows, and system requirements
  • Ensure solutions align with overall business strategies and operational goals
  • Assist in identifying new applications of technology to solve business problems
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and team collaboration

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in business analysis or systems analysis roles
  • Strong understanding of business process analysis and reengineering methodologies
  • Experience analyzing business systems and aligning technology solutions with business strategies
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in an Agile environment, preferably SAFe Agile
  • Experience with Texas HHSC processes, Medicaid, or CHIP systems
  • Experience supporting large-scale government or healthcare technology projects
