Senior Business Analyst – Fintech / Digital Wallet Platform

Drive fintech wallet platform analysis, workflows, and stakeholder requirements

• Lead requirement workshops and stakeholder discussions
• Understand and document wallet operating models and transaction workflows
• Prepare functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams on integration-heavy platforms
• Analyze settlement, reconciliation, payout, refund, and reversal workflows
• Support MVP scope definition and phased rollout planning
• Identify requirement gaps, ambiguities, and dependency risks
• Support UAT planning and production readiness activities
• Mentor and guide junior Business Analysts, support task allocation, review deliverables, and ensure quality of BA outputs across the team
• Strong understanding of digital wallet ecosystems and fintech platforms
• Knowledge of closed-loop, semi-closed, and open-loop wallet concepts
• Understanding of ledger, settlement, reconciliation, and payout workflows
• Awareness of refunds, reversals, and transaction lifecycle management
• Understanding of payment gateway and financial integration concepts
• Awareness of KYC/AML and auditability concepts
• Strong understanding of API-based and event-driven integrations
• Awareness of scalability, HA, DR, and operational readiness concepts
• Strong business analysis and requirement elicitation skills
• Excellent workflow documentation and process mapping capability
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Draw.io, or similar tools
• Good to Have: Prior experience in wallet, fintech, banking, or payments platforms
• Exposure to Kafka/event-driven architectures
• Understanding of cloud-native and microservices ecosystems
• Knowledge around various compliance and regulatory frameworks for payment domain
• Soft Skills: Strong stakeholder management capability
• Excellent communication and workshop facilitation skills
• Strong ownership and collaboration mindset
• Ability to mentor, coach, and manage junior BAs with a collaborative and growth-oriented approach
• Willingness to travel to client locations – domestic and international
• Willingness to work across different time zones, including Manila, Philippines (PHT – UTC+8)
