Job Description:

Senior Business Aligned Finance Analyst role at Wells Fargo providing technical expertise, financial analysis, and strategic planning support for business units. The role involves leveraging AI technologies for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and developing advanced reporting solutions.

Job Responsibility:

Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives as a technical professional
Provide expertise and develop company objectives and standards
Review and analyze moderately complex data for large scale planning
Research key forecasting projections and manage financial reporting
Develop strategies for forward financial planning
Lead implementation of moderately complex projects
Establish effective and efficient reporting delivery
Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers in finance and business lines
Exercise independent judgment while understanding policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

Requirements:

4+ years of Finance experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
Good understanding of accounting and preferably knowledge of US GAAP
Financial Services (brokerage in particular) Industry experience
Certification in SQL, SAS, Python, Power BI, Power App
Subject matter expert on banking products, preferably Wealth Business
Hands-on experience in leveraging AI to augment LOB financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
Ability to plan AI adoption and influence stakeholders
Ability to engineer LLMs to auto generate executive summaries and analysis
Experience with Jupyter Notebooks, Google Colab, or similar platforms
Experience with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot)
Advanced knowledge of enterprise tools like MS Copilot, NotebookLM
Strong understanding of Prompt Engineering
Experience with ERP and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Strong KPI and metrics related reporting skills
Financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting skills
Good automation and transformation skills

Nice to have:

Good understanding of accounting and preferably knowledge of US GAAP

Experience with Wealth Business products
