Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join our expanding London team. The successful candidate will lead on a wide range of surveying projects, providing advice on property and construction matters, and mentoring graduate team members. Job Responsibility:

Building and maintaining strong client relationships while delivering high quality professional surveying services
Collaborating with external clients, third-party consultants, and internal colleagues within the in-house multi-disciplinary departments
Undertaking site inspections, building surveys, and producing Technical Due Diligence and defect analysis reports, schedules of condition, and PPM schedules
Advising and developing project briefs and budget costs for refurbishment works
Preparing specifications, analysing tenders, contract administration duties, design team coordination and statutory regulation compliance
Undertaking development monitoring services for funders, advising, and reporting on all aspects of a construction project throughout the design and construction phases
Undertaking reinstatement cost assessments for insurance purposes
Providing advice on dilapidations matters to both landlords and tenants, including preparation of dilapidations assessments/exit strategies and negotiating claims
Dealing with party wall matters for both building and adjoining owners

Requirements:

MRICS qualification
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise reports and specifications
A proactive mindset and the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
