Job Description:

An independent Construction Consultancy with over 40 years of expertise is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor. The role involves contract administration, specification writing, and managing projects within the commercial property space, with clients like the Royal Mail. The role offers progression into partnership as part of a succession plan.

Job Responsibility:

Carry out a range of service lines, with a focus being contract administration and specification writing
Handle projects mainly within the commercial property space
Collaborate with a team and progress into partnership as a part of a succession plan

Requirements:

MRICS qualified ideally (not essential)
RICS accredited degree
A construction consultancy background (essential)
Confident in contract administration and spec writing
Good communication – both written and verbal

Nice to have:

MRICS qualified ideally (not essential)

Requirements

Experienced Building Surveyor with sound knowledge of building surveying principles
Insurance claims experience desirable
RICS qualification preferred
Excellent communication, negotiation, and investigative skills
