Job Description:

Dynamic and growing Building Consultancy with a strong presence across Central and Greater London, are seeking an ambitious Chartered Building Surveyor to step into a Senior role within their Building Surveying team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who’s keen to work with an enviable client base of commercial landlords and public sector organisations across a variety of landmark portfolios.

Job Responsibility:

Managing and delivering building surveying commissions across feasibility, design, and project delivery stages
Leading contract administration for new build, refurbishment, and maintenance projects
Providing expert advice to clients and stakeholders across the full property lifecycle
Mentoring and developing junior team members
Preparing and managing planned preventative maintenance schedules
Supporting business unit directors in meeting wider commercial goals
Preparing proposals and fee bids
Ensuring high-quality service delivery across all technical outputs
Managing sub-consultants and ensuring compliance with appointment processes

Requirements:

MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) – Essential
Broad, in-depth post-qualification Building Surveying experience
Strong knowledge of construction methods, legislation, and procurement strategies
Confident administering contracts as Employer’s Agent / Contract Administrator
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
Commercially aware with strong financial and negotiation abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
