Job Description:

A client of mine, a leading independent real estate consultancy known for their progressive approach and commercial expertise, are keen to speak with a driven Associate or Senior Associate Building Surveyor, with a view to joining their growing London office. This opportunity offers the successful Surveyor the chance to join a highly respected Building Consultancy team, delivering expert advice across the commercial property lifecycle – all within a supportive, entrepreneurial environment that actively encourages career development and personal growth.

Job Responsibility:

Delivering professional Building Surveying services across a variety of key sectors
Instructions will include dilapidations, landlord and tenant advice, reinstatement cost assessments, and contract administration
Take full ownership of projects from start to finish
Managing client relationships
Leading negotiations
Overseeing the commercial success of instructions
Mentor junior team members
Play an active role in driving the growth and quality of service delivery within the team

Requirements:

MRICS qualified
Degree in Building Surveying or a related field
Experience in dilapidations and landlord & tenant matters
Confident in managing end-to-end surveying projects
Passionate about mentoring and supporting junior surveyors
Excellent client care, communication, and report writing skills
A commercially aware and proactive mindset
Experience across sectors such as office, industrial, retail, or hospitality
