Job Description:

A multidisciplinary property consultancy is seeking a talented Senior Building Surveyor to join their dynamic London team. This role involves delivering a range of commercial surveying services, managing client relationships, and mentoring junior staff. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a client-facing position, specialise in key service lines, and further progress to leadership roles within the organisation.

Job Responsibility:

Take a lead role in delivering a broad range of commercial surveying services – including dilapidations, technical due diligence, contract administration, and planned preventative maintenance
Work directly with key clients
Oversee project delivery
Support junior surveyors with mentorship and guidance
Manage multiple projects simultaneously
Provide strategic advice across the full building lifecycle
Specialise in key service lines depending on strengths and interests
Continue to develop as a leader within the team

Requirements:

MRICS-qualified (or equivalent)
A degree in Building Surveying or a related field
Experience across a range of commercial consultancy services
Methodical, organised, and detail-oriented
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Commercially aware and client-focused
Motivated to contribute to team growth and mentor junior staff
