Job Description:

A leading Construction Consultancy with a strong national presence and a reputation for excellence is seeking an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join their expanding London team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a multidisciplinary consultancy offering a wide range of building surveying services across both the private and public sectors.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing a variety of technical duties – from condition surveys and defect diagnosis to design, contract administration, and project management
  • Working across a diverse portfolio that includes commercial, residential, healthcare, and education projects
  • Working closely with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure timely delivery of projects and exceptional client service
  • Mentoring junior team members and contributing to the growth and development of the department

Requirements:

  • A RICS-accredited degree in Building Surveying or related discipline
  • Ideally MRICS qualified or working towards chartership
  • Solid technical knowledge and experience across core Building Surveying duties
  • Experience managing multiple projects at one time
  • Strong client-facing and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficient in CAD and other industry-relevant software
  • A proactive approach to CPD and mentoring junior staff
