Job Description:

Client-Side / Consultancy Role for a Director of Building Surveying (Industrial and Commercial Focus). We are representing a leading consultancy that collaborates with a major developer and asset manager specialising in the commercial and industrial sectors. Operating across the UK, the consultancy offers a comprehensive range of services, managing a portfolio exceeding 15 million sq. ft and over 800 tenants. They work closely with institutions, financial partners, and occupiers to deliver exceptional results.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work alongside a team of 4 chartered building surveyors
  • Spend approximately 70% of your time on consultancy responsibilities and 30% client side
  • Handle projects spanning the UK including a mix of dilapidations, planned preventive maintenance (PPM), and project work
  • Project monitoring
  • Managing multiple dilapidations claims on behalf of asset managers and investors

Requirements:

  • Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) with substantial commercial experience
  • Strong expertise in both client-side and consultancy aspects of building surveying
  • Proven ability to handle challenging negotiations and deliver top-tier advice to clients
  • Experience managing a team would be highly beneficial
