Job Description:

Do you thrive in a role where your expertise can truly make a difference? A leading company in the construction consultancy sector is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor in Greater London. This position offers the chance to work on various commercial and residential projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes while collaborating with clients and contractors. This is a hybrid position, with 3 days per week in the office or on site and 2 days working from home. Mileage and expenses are fully paid for business-related travel.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver core building surveying services including contract administration and building pathology
  • Prepare specifications, schedules of works, and manage tender processes
  • Monitor site progress to ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards
  • Mentor junior surveyors and contribute to team development
  • Enhance client relationships and support business development efforts

Requirements:

  • Significant experience as a Senior Building Surveyor or keen to step into this role
  • Strong knowledge of contract administration and building compliance
  • Effective communication and ability to build client relationships
  • Proficiency working independently and managing workloads efficiently
  • A full UK driving licence is required
