Job Description:

A specialist property consultancy known for combining deep technical knowledge with intelligent, sector-specific insight, are keen to speak with a talented Senior Building Surveyor, with a view to joining their central London office. Offering the successful Senior Building Surveyor the opportunity to work across a diverse and high-profile portfolio, this role will see you take on a blend of traditional surveying responsibilities alongside project-led work, all while contributing to business development and mentoring within a collaborative team environment.

Job Responsibility:

Delivering core Building Surveying services, with a focus on contract administration for refurbishment and remedial works
Leading and managing professional instructions, including dilapidations and condition surveys
Supporting client relationships and helping to secure new business opportunities
Contributing to the development of junior staff and mentoring graduates
Working collaboratively across service lines to provide comprehensive property solutions
Supporting financial forecasting and meeting fee targets

Requirements:

MRICS qualified for a minimum of 3 years
Degree in Building Surveying or similar
Strong background in both professional and project-based surveying
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Ability to manage own workload and deliver to deadlines with minimal supervision
A collaborative, mentoring mindset with an interest in supporting graduate development
A clean driving licence and flexibility to travel when required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Nice to have:

Knowledge of MS Project or Monday.com
