Job Description:

A multi-disciplinary Building Consultancy is seeking a Senior Building Regulation Principal Designer to lead on complex new build projects, from the Leisure Sector, to Universities and complex Residential (HRBs) schemes. The role reports to a Senior Leadership Team that offers genuine flexibility.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead on complex new build projects
  • Lead on Building Regulation compliance
  • Collaborate with an experienced team
  • Ensure Building Regulation compliance
  • Guide clients through the Gateway process and all CDM related risk during the design stages
  • Clear communication to ensure handover to Principal Contractor is as effective as possible

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years within an Architectural, Design or Building Control role
  • Demonstratable experience of leading on Building Regulation compliance
  • ARB, MCIAT, RIBA, MCABE or MCIOB membership
