Maison Margiela is a Paris-based fashion house founded in 1988 by Belgian designer Martin Margiela. The Senior Brand Marketing Manager will report directly to the Head of Brand Marketing and support the strategic development and execution of key global brand marketing initiatives. This role is an exciting addition to the team, central to strengthening Maison Margiela’s visibility, cultural relevance, and commercial momentum by coordinating 360° marketing efforts across the organisation.
Job Responsibility:
Collaborate closely with the marketing organization and head of brand marketing to execute brand strategies rooted in Maison Margiela’s DNA, creative direction, and product vision
Support the creation and rollout of global go-to-market brand marketing plans for MM and MM6, ensuring alignment across creative, commercial, and channel teams
Lead the daily management of brand marketing projects, including timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional coordination
Brief and work with PR, Social, Digital, Media, Events, VM and E-commerce teams to ensure integrated and cohesive brand activations that ladder up to the strategic direction set by the CMO and Head of Brand Marketing
Manage 360° marketing planning and execution for seasonal collections, shows, product launches, iconic product pushes, and brand storytelling moments
Identify new opportunities in culture, partnerships, and emerging platforms that can help reach new audiences and strengthen community engagement
Collaborate with commercial, merchandising, VM, and product marketing teams to ensure projects support both brand narrative and business priorities
Work with regional teams to help translate global strategies into strong, locally-relevant activations, ensuring adherence to Margiela’s brand codes
Monitor cultural trends, competitive dynamics, and consumer insights to feed into strategic reviews and elevate internal thinking
Prepare and deliver key marketing documents for internal alignment, including 360 launch plans, QBR’s, channel toolkits, competitor reports, asset lists, and storytelling guidelines
Uphold Maison Margiela’s unconventionality and creative values across all executions while driving operational excellence
Requirements:
5+ years of working experience, preferably in the luxury fashion industry
Fluent in English and French
Excellent communication skills
A strong sense of responsibility and professionalism
Able to communicate with clarity, precision, and efficiency
Open to new ideas, tasks, and approaches
Highly organized
Excellent attention to detail
A passion for marketing and creativity
Able to perform in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment
