BaseSGN is looking for a Senior Brand Designer to drive creative thinking and shape thoughtful brand experiences across a diverse range of impactful projects. We’re looking for someone with strong conceptual thinking, refined craft, and the ability to lead creative directions with clarity and intention — ready to turn meaningful ideas into impactful brand experiences and elevate the work of the team. Experience with 3D tools is a plus.
Job Responsibility
Voice your opinion on approaches to design as well as in the constant pursuit of more thoughtful and better grafted design
Actively collaborate with the Design Director, Designers and fellow team members to support a wide range of projects that set high standards
Engage in critical thinking and active participation in meetings, always aiming for constant improvement in process, execution, and delivery
Strategise, conceive, create, present, critique and produce design based on strategic/conceptual territories
Develop creative solutions that are highly original, functional, relevant, and efficient
Document your work into comprehensive guidelines that promote good design, backed up by clear and strategic thinking, and provide solid instruction to wider teams
Create clear and inspiring documentation meant for global audiences (not only designers). This will also serve as your portfolio
Work with the project team to create compelling client-facing presentations that inspire and explain. Meanwhile, challenge and potentially refine tools and processes for better presentations, aligning with our goal to continually improve our work, and the way we do it
Deliver projects with the highest level of creativity, while respecting the clients’ needs, schedule, and budget
Be vocal and open to influencing and contributing to the studio's change. Critically consider how to maximize opportunities
Actively assist the team as a regular practice. Maintain organization and clarity within the team as teamwork is our studio’s top priority
Enjoy your work and communicate clearly about why enjoyment could be in jeopardy to expedite the resolution of roadblocks, or negative challenges.

Requirements
5+ years working experience in similar role
Highly-skilled & well-rounded across all channels of graphic design and identity systems, and in various platforms, from digital to physical
Multi-disciplinary, with a solid foundation of design theory and practical tools
Collaborative. Proactive. Positive. Rigorous.
A great communicator, strong presentation and interpersonal skills
Leadership capabilities to bring people together, support team contributions, and lead projects from A to Z
Proficiency in English, both spoken and written
Capacity to work both independently and within teams
Equal parts creative & strategic
A restless thinker with a desire to challenge, surprise and stretch those around you
Fundamental understanding of project management, budget and deadlines
