Job Description:

Are you a Senior Bookkeeper in the Barrie area, looking for a new exciting opportunity with a reputable organization? Do you have experience with benefits administration, journal entries and month-end reporting? If so, we want to talk to you! Randstad has partnered with a manufacturing company in Barrie, looking for a Senior Bookkeeper for a 12-14 month contract role, starting in early May. This is an onsite position so applicants will need to be able to travel to Barrie daily.

Job Responsibility:

Responsible for Accounts Payable and all invoicing in compliance with company policies
Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner
Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
Support month-end reporting, journal entries
Assist in the month end, quarter end and year end closing process including monthly financial close workbook preparation
Manage all benefits administration

Requirements:

3+ years Accounting experience across various functions
Post Secondary Degree in Accounting
Experience with journal entries and month-end
Previous experience with benefits administration
