We are seeking a Senior Bilingual Marketing Specialist to develop and execute a national marketing strategy for a program dedicated to fostering a love of reading in children across Canada. This crucial role involves providing strategic communication, including promotion, media relations, and social media, to increase the program's reach, drive awareness, and boost registration. ... The anticipated duration is 952 hours over 12 months, with an estimated start date of January 1, 2026. A potential extension of up to 12 months may be available.

Job Responsibility:

  • Developing and implementing a national marketing and communications strategy to boost program registration
  • Managing social media channels, creating engaging content, and identifying new promotional opportunities
  • Monitoring brand presence and media coverage, and preparing an annual report
  • Building brand awareness and ensuring that all communications and materials align with brand guidelines

Requirements:

  • Three or more years of experience developing and executing national marketing plans
  • Proven ability to manage social media and promotional campaigns
  • Strong experience working with diverse stakeholders, including corporate sponsors and national partners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Must be fluent in French and English to a professional working level
