Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Big Data Solution Architect to build and maintain platform modernization and transformation programs. You’ll be part of a core accounts data team responsible for the full software development life cycle, upholding best-in-class engineering standards and modern methodologies.

Job Responsibility:

collaborate with business stakeholders and product owners to understand business goals, objectives, and requirements
develop a clear technical vision for the modernized platform
create detailed solution designs and architectures, including data models, data pipelines, and integration points
lead the evaluation and selection of target platforms and migration strategies
provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team
design and implement performance testing strategies
optimize data processing jobs and resolve performance bottlenecks
effectively communicate technical concepts to stakeholders
create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
stay up-to-date with trends and advancements in Big Data technologies
ensure the platform adheres to security and compliance regulations
prepare handover documents and lead testing efforts

Requirements:

8+ years of experience
good understanding on databases, Linux systems, Big Data systems
good understanding of core banking domain
excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
experience with Agile model, JIRA, Autosys, ServiceNow and other enterprise-level project planning and tracking tools
experience with modernization, transformations and retirement programs
ability to build relationships with business and technology stakeholders
strong analytic skills, communication skills and internal customer management skills
good problem-solving skills
