As a Senior Bid Writer, you will take ownership of the written content for complex bids, tenders, and framework submissions, as well as: Collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), project managers, and technical teams to gather insights and information. Understand client drivers, needs, and evaluation criteria to tailor responses that resonate and align with project objectives. Produce clear, concise, and persuasive content that showcases QTS Group’s expertise, safety record, innovation, and value. Develop and maintain a library of standard responses, case studies, and supporting collateral. Support storyboarding, win-theme development, and content strategy during bid kick-offs and reviews. Ensure all written submissions are compliant, accurate, and presented to a professional standard. Contribute to post-bid reviews, continuous improvement initiatives, and lessons learned sessions. Mentor junior team members and contribute to maintaining bid quality across the organisation.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Bid Writer or Senior Bid Writer within the civils, construction, or infrastructure sectors
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills — able to turn complex technical input into clear, persuasive narratives
Strong understanding of public and private sector tendering processes, particularly for frameworks and major contracts
Excellent interviewing and communication skills — comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and SMEs
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines
