Job Responsibility

  • Take ownership of complex, strategic bids
  • Guide bids from early planning through to submission
  • Work closely with Bid Directors and multidisciplinary experts
  • Define winning strategies and translate them into high-impact proposals
  • Lead and inspire a team of writers
  • Develop detailed bid programmes and coordinate stakeholder inputs
  • Prepare client presentations and negotiation strategies
  • Champion continuous improvement by sharing insights and driving learning

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering multi-million-pound construction bids, with strong knowledge of work-winning processes
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and research skills, with the ability to distil complex information into clear, persuasive messaging
  • A natural ability to influence and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong organisational capability, able to manage multiple priorities and programmes with precision
  • Experience leading or supporting significant projects or programmes (a Project/Programme Management qualification is desirable)
  • Advanced IT skills, including extensive use of Microsoft Word
