Job Description:

We are looking for an intellectually curious Senior Power BI Developer with significant technical skills in Power BI and business acumen to join our team in Coca-Cola Hellenic Digital & Technology Platform Services (DTPS) and be part of the BI Reporting team. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the strategy, design and development of our Enterprise and Operational Reporting, providing insights and supporting decision making for end users. The role involves significant collaboration with business and IT teams, opportunity to integrate & transform data from various data systems into structures that are suitable for building analytical solutions, connecting certified and validated data sources to Power BI front-end visualizations and creating a single source of truth for reporting in Coca-Cola Hellenic.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, develop, and deploy advanced Power BI reports and dashboards that provide deep insights and support strategic decision-making
  • Integrate data from various sources, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data
  • Lead BI projects from concept to completion, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data engineers, and IT, to ensure BI solutions meet business needs
  • Monitor and maintain the performance of BI solutions, ensuring high availability and performance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports and dashboards
  • Utilize advanced DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) to create complex calculations and data models
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to junior BI developers and analysts

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science, information systems, data analytics, or a related field (or an equivalent of 5 years of practical experience in a technical domain)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power BI/Qlik or Tableau
  • Experienced with data visualization principles, measure/KBI-creation & best principles in semantic modeling (especially star schema creation)
  • Strong experience with DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for creating complex calculations in Power BI or similar tools is a must
  • Minimum 5 years of practical experience with large data analytics languages like SQL/TSQL/MSQL
  • Proven practical experience in implementing/organizing the implementation of technical products with business/none-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving and communication skills are a must for the role
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Good proficiency in English as a day-to-day business language is a must

Nice to have:

  • First proven leadership capabilities towards junior employees and a proactive approach to project management
  • Basic programming knowledge in any high-level programming language (C++/C#/Java/Python/R)
  • Knowledge of Power Query for data preparation and transformation
  • Previous work experience in a data-related role especially within the financial and commercial domain
