Job Description:

Lensa Inc. is looking to expand its team in Hungary with a new Senior BI Analyst. The role requires proven experience in collecting and analyzing business requirements for providing and continuously updating numerous diverse and accurate reports and analytics. The candidate will work with a large data lake and handle around 200 daily reports, working closely with the BI Expert and Product Owners.

Job Responsibility:

Collecting and analyzing business requirements (preferably related to software development and marketing, growth processes) for providing and continuously updating numerous diverse and accurate reports and analytics
Handling data visuals and dashboards
Working with a large data lake (app.2TB) and handling around 200 daily reports
Working closely with our BI Expert and our Product Owners by supporting their everyday work and providing important insights for business decisions

Requirements:

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a relevant role (Business Analyst, BI developer, Reporting Analyst, etc.)
Strong SQL skills with production-ready query writing (CTEs, window functions, complex joins, focus on optimization)
Proven experience with Data Visualization tools, preferably Tableau
Experience in designing business-focused dashboards with performance optimization
Data warehousing experience and understanding of DW concepts
Hands-on experience with data modeling
Ability to build stable data layers supporting BI tools and self-service analytics
End-to-end ownership of BI projects from requirement gathering to deployment and documentation

Nice to have:

Experience with Agile development approach
Experience with issue tracking softwares (preferably Jira)
Experience in A/B testing
Strong business insight and data storytelling skills
Ability to present complex analytical findings clearly to executive and non-technical audiences
Experience in proactive collaboration and stakeholder management
Collaboration with Data Engineering and Data Science teams
Proactive, solution-oriented mindset
Ability to identify and address data quality issues
If you have worked with Redshift before, and know how to query and optimze modern cloud data warehouse efficiently, that's a strong plus
If Python is part of your toolkit (e.g., Pandas for data manipulation or small ETL/preparation scripts), that's a huge advantage
