As Senior BAM responsible for European Discounters you will own the strategy and execution with the Customer across all of our Branded and private label categories. This is a priority growth area for the business and will include strong customer relationships, where you will seek to understand, influence and align pladis and customer strategies to deliver profitable, sustained long term share growth to exceed our internal metrics.
Job Responsibility:
Own the strategy and execution with the Customer across all of our Branded and private label categories
Full ownership and accountability of European Discounters across all key financial and share metrics
Full P&L management including forecasting and delivery of monthly sales/profit targets
Design, influence and implement plans for a strategic multi-year plan enabling category growth across Biscuits and Snacks
Build a strong and strategic relationship with Customers across multiple functions
Build a short and long term strategy to win profitable share in Euro Discounters
Execute margin-creation initiatives whilst maintaining customer support and growth
Management and career development of one direct report with responsibility for Other bargain stores
Network to all levels within Aldi and Lidl
Handle challenging and combative discussions with buyers
Drive for and set the highest standards for delivery, growth and in store execution
Lead from the outside in, reflect exceptional customer knowledge and insight
Requirements:
Proven experience in managing European Discounters and delivering impressive results within the UK Grocery industry
Strong ability to deliver senior level narrative and relationship building
Driven, resilient, ambitious, creative value set to challenge the status quo internally and externally
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team towards a common goal
Problem solving and solution orientated
Detail mindset to deliver strong financial grip, P&L fluency
Negotiation expertise
