Job Description:

We are looking for highly talented and driven software engineers who take pride in their work, to expand our Engineering team in Brazil. Successful candidates will join a cross functional team including product managers and designers working closely with the rest of our business to deliver working code that solves real problems for both internal and external customers. You will take ownership of the services managed by your team, ensuring that their development aligns with the higher level AlphaSights Engineering strategy, while mentoring more junior Engineers. If you have a strong passion for solving problems with code, and want to work with exceptional colleagues in a high achievement environment, this role is a good fit for you.

Job Responsibility:

  • Define the best technical solutions to business problems
  • Contribute to an architectural vision
  • Ship working code
  • Deploy and iterate using CI/CD
  • Monitor services, catch errors, diagnose root causes, and deploy fixes
  • Mentor more junior Engineers
  • Take ownership of services managed by the team

Requirements:

  • Degree in a STEM subject (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience working at a similar level in a mature Engineering team
  • Technical expertise with Java or Kotlin with Springboot
  • Experience with relational databases
  • Proven track record of demonstrable impact in previous roles
  • Highly driven and proactive
  • Meticulous with high standards and obsessive attention to detail
  • Must be a current resident of Brazil
  • Resume must be submitted in English
