Job Description:

We are looking for a talented backend engineer who can meet our technical bar, is willing to tackle challenging problems, and is a great fit to our open, driven, and collaborative team culture. Join our small but growing engineering team by making a significant impact when building our in-house products and solving complex problems from startups and companies seeking for our help.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work closely with product managers, and internal teams to understand user needs
  • Provide directions and technical vision for the team
  • Provide mentorship to junior engineers in the team
  • Develop and deliver solutions for given challenging problems
  • Write concise, well-organized code and sensible tests
  • Collaborate well with other engineers and stakeholders across different teams

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in developing software products
  • 3+ years of experience in backend development
  • Having strong experience with at least one backend frameworks
  • Experience working with both relational and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with one of these Cloud platforms (such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
  • A smart and driven engineer who is motivated to build great products and learn new skills
  • Great communication skills and a desire to collaborate with the team
  • Strong experience in building backend APIs
  • An interest in taking on more responsibility and ownership over time
  • Ability to solve complex and challenging problems
  • Taking pride in your work with the ability to write clean code and tests

Nice to have:

  • Experience with building large, complex projects is a plus
  • Working with open source projects is a plus
  • Expertise in analytical and problem-solving skills is a big plus
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Deployment (such as: CircleCI, GoCD, Jenkins) is a plus
