Job Description

At Paribu, every team member plays a crucial role in driving innovation and delivering high-quality solutions. In the Senior Backend Engineer (Go) role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and systems.

Job Responsibility

  • Design, develop, and maintain highly performant and scalable backend services using Go
  • Build and operate distributed systems with a strong focus on concurrency, fault tolerance, and reliability
  • Design and implement event-driven architectures to support asynchronous and real-time workflows
  • Develop systems optimized for low latency and high throughput
  • Work with Redis and NoSQL-based systems for caching and data-intensive workloads
  • Design and maintain data models using relational databases such as PostgreSQL
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Actively contribute to architectural decisions and help shape the backend technology stack
  • Implement, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast and reliable deployments
  • Operate and scale services on AWS and cloud-native environments
  • Review code, share best practices, and mentor team members to elevate overall engineering quality
  • Troubleshoot production issues and continuously optimize system performance and stability
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, backend technologies, and system design best practices
  • Participate in architectural discussions and decision-making processes to shape the future of our technology stack

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in backend or software development, with strong expertise in Go
  • Advanced knowledge of distributed systems and concurrency models
  • Hands-on experience with event-driven system design
  • Proven experience building systems with low latency and high throughput requirements
  • Strong knowledge of Redis and NoSQL technologies
  • Solid experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
  • Experience working with AWS cloud services
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and modern deployment pipelines
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor and guide other engineers
  • Experience working in microservices-based architectures
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong sense of ownership
  • Good command of written and spoken English
