Job Description:

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will design, build, deploy and scale various products under CleverTap's platform, working closely with product managers, QA engineers, designers, and software engineers. Your role involves optimizing server performance, implementing security structures, generating reusable code, and collaborating with teams to meet requirements.

Job Responsibility:

Write server side scripts, API’s to be utilised by front side engineers and other microservices
Optimising servers for speed and stability
Implementing security structures
Generating reusable code libraries
Generating data storage solutions
Deciding the requirements and estimating delivery date for a particular feature
Documenting the technical details for development

Requirements:

4 to 6 years of experience in back-end development (Designing, developing, testing and deploying large scale applications with one of the JVM languages or other server side technologies)
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Large capacity for attention to detail
Ability to meet communicated deadlines and release project with minimal bugs
Good knowledge of data structure, OOPs concepts and Java

Nice to have:

Hands-on on Mongo DB, Redis and AWS
Familiarity with front side platforms such Javascript, HTML5, CSS3 and Vue
Prior knowledge of FCM and APNS services
