Job Description:

Senior Backend Engineer role at Bloomreach, building the world’s premier agentic platform for personalization. The Pulsar team builds platform and admin services that all Bloomreach SaaS products rely on.

Job Responsibility:

  • Code review
  • Develop features used by thousands of customers
  • Deliver fast, consistent product releases
  • Work on changes to user management framework
  • Create merge requests
  • Deploy changes
  • Participate in team standups
  • Provide advice on API integration
  • Draft technical design docs

Requirements:

  • Developed backend services with Python using a variety of data systems (3+ years)
  • Understands web security principles (OWASP), Authentication, and Authorization practices
  • Designed APIs for a SaaS product
  • Operated services in production on public cloud infrastructure
  • Some experience with Java / Spring or Go
  • Exposure to frontend development (Angular / React)
